Holidays in Madrid
Spain’s regal capital has a wealth of treasures.
Holidays in Madrid
On one hand, the Spanish capital is a major European metropolis, glittering with the trappings of government, monarchy and big business. On the other, it’s a surprisingly intimate city made up of small neighbourhoods, each with their own distinct character, and plenty of earthy charm.
Madrid’s blockbuster attractions include a trio of superb art museums, Europe’s biggest royal palace and splendid convents for blue-blooded nuns, but you may find, as we do, that its greatest appeal lies in the small details: the vibrant tiles adorning the historic bars, the queues forming to pray to a miraculous statue, the taste of a chilled vermut from the barrel on a Sunday morning, or a picnic enjoyed in the Retiro Park.
We know the city inside and out, and can arrange private visits to its best museums, tapas tours around its more vibrant neighbourhoods, shopping tours, cooking classes, flamenco concerts, picnics, parties and more. Just get in touch and we’ll do the rest!
